Barrow man celebrates marathon and fundraising achievements

Henry Vincent, 86, gave a significant donation to the Alzheimer's Society after raising money in the run-up to Christmas - and just days after received a medal in recognition of running 100 marathons, a feat he completed in his 60s.
Throughout December Mr Vincent delighted Christmas shoppers by performing carols and festive songs on his soprano saxophone.
By busking in Tesco, Morrisons and Barrow Market, he was able to raise over £1,600 for the Alzheimer's Society.
