Bank robbers being hunted after car smashed into Bootle Santander
 

Bank robbers are being hunted by police after a car crashed through a Santander in Bootle.
Officers were called to Stanley Road at around 7.40pm on Friday to reports that a bank had been robbed.
It is believed that a car, described as a Mazda saloon, had driven into the front of the branch and smashed through the door.
The robbers then managed to get into the bank by forcing the doors before stealing a cash box, including a large amount of money, and fleeing in the silver car.
