Army 'shamelessly targeting poor kids from North Wales' with recruiting campaigns, MP claims

AN MP has criticised the British Army for what she said was its “shameless” targeting of Welsh children from low-income families.
Plaid Cymru MP Liz Saville Roberts urged the Ministry of Defence to change its recruitment strategy claiming that the Army’s £3m ‘This is Belonging’ campaign deliberately targeted 16-24 year old ‘C2DEs’ – in the lowest social and economic groups.
Writing for Nation.Cymru, the Plaid Cymru Westminster leader and the Child Soldiers International director Rachel Taylor accused the Westminster Government of “preying on the most vulnerable people in society”.
