Apple’s huge new £1,249 iPhone ‘actually costs just £336 to make’
 

Apple blasted through the £1,000 barrier with the launch of its new iPhone XS Max – with models priced up to an eye-watering £1,449.
But it turns out that under the bonnet, Apple has actually cut a few corners to keep costs down.
The total cost of an iPhone Max model came in at £336, according to one of those weird analyst firms which specialise in ripping phones to bits.
TechInsights, based in Ottawa, Ontario tore the guts out of an iPhone Max with 256 gigabytes of storage (worth £1249 in store) and priced it all up.
