Air hostess fired after having a baby gets nearly £8,000 in compensation
 

An air hostess who was fired from her ‘dream job’ after she had a baby has won a discrimination claim against the airline.
Andrea Elcock suffered agonising pain and had to use crutches to get around when her joints were ‘pushed to the limit’ during her third pregnancy.
She had been diagnosed with rare genetic disorder Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, which can cause an increased range of joint movement, stretchy skin, and fragile skin that breaks or bruises easily.
