200 poppies for Bridlington War Memorial

Bridlington has officially turned red – and  almost every poppy in town has been sold!
The Free Press campaign Let’s Turn the Town Red, asking people to buy large poppies in honour of the town’s fallen, has met with an incredible response.
And next week Bridlington Town Council plays an important part in it.
It has bought 200 poppies and, on Wednesday at 7pm, the Bridlington War Memorial railings will be decorated with them.
Members of 252 (Bridlington) Squadron Air Training Corps will help at the ceremony.
