12 Port Vale fans appear in court after violence at Blundell Park clash with Grimsby Town

The first batch of Port Vale football fans accused of being involved in "large-scale" violent scenes at a Grimsby Town match have appeared in court.
The trouble is said to have involved disturbances inside and outside the Blundell Park ground on March 10.
The supporters appeared before Grimsby Magistrates' Court and they are all accused of violent disorder.
Prosecutor Julian Tanikal claimed that it was a serious matter involving a "large-scale disturbance" and some of those causing trouble went on to the pitch after the score was equalised at 1-1.
