Young asylum seeker takes Glasgow City Council to court over age row
 

A young asylum seeker has taken Scotland’s largest local authority to court in a row over his age.
Social workers who carried out age assessment believed the man was several years older than he claimed.
As a result, he was told he was being moved from his accommodation, which was designed for 16 to 18-year-olds.
The man, known only as AU, a refugee from Afghanistan, planned to take Glasgow City Council to court over the decision.
He has since reached an out-of-court settlement with the council.
