'You're SWANder arrest' - police fail to get a word out of mute swan on Brayford

Police swooped on a runaway swan causing a nuisance in Lincoln.
Officers were snapped giving the young bird a stern talking to the amusement of passersby on university bridge, Brayford Way.
The stand-off prompted photographer Jason Corrigan to send a photograph to the Echo with the caption, "you're swander arrest".
The cygnet apparently refused to comment to police officers leading to speculation it might in fact be a mute swan, which are common on the Brayford.
