Yobs at Morrisons in Newcastle put dad in hospital

A man was taken to hospital yesterday after being attacked by a group at Morrisons yesterday afternoon.
The 37-year-old was outside the supermarket on Goose Street in Newcastle with his wife and three children when he was attacked by more than one person according to eyewitnesses.
Reports suggest he was found on the floor and eyewitnesses claim he was knocked unconscious after he intervened in a row between youths.
Staff at the supermarket were alerted to the incident by customers and ambulance crews were called.
