Yellow substance spillage stretches for miles along the A66
 

A mystery spillage stretching along a busy road left drivers and emergency workers baffled today.
The yellow substance stretched for miles along the A66 towards Redcar .
The source of the spill is still unknown, but is thought to be a tanker carrying some sort of yellow powder.
It began on the A66 junction near the village of Elton in Stockton.
The eastbound slip road was open to drivers, but covered in the yellow dust.
Station manager for Cleveland Fire Brigade, Ian Dixon, confirmed the spillage was not a harmful chemical.
