With immigration control queues bursting at the seams, the government is currently developing a new ‘fast-track’ scheme.
The scheme is aimed at easing congesting across Britain’s busiest airports.
But some people think the introduction of such a scheme will leave those who don’t pay waiting for longer.
Critics have dubbed the scheme as a “barmy” idea and a “gimmick”.
One union is arguing the scheme reveals “just how understaffed our borders are”.
Prices for the fast-track scheme are expected to range from £5 to £17.50 per person.
