Work starts on new Heathcote School
 

BUILDING work has started on the new Heathcote Primary School.
The school is set to open next September to cater for demand from the nearby housing estate on Warwick Gates.
It will initially have room for a total of 90 nursery and school pupils before eventually having space for 420 children.
Made up of 16 classrooms with 28 full-time staff and 20 part-time staff, Heathcote will be a free school – meaning it is run independently and will not be controlled by the county council. Funding will come from government as it does for other schools.
