Women's better memory could be masking early onset of Alzheimer's
 

Research reveals women are more able to recall information that is expressed through words – even when exhibiting pre-dementia changes in their brain. 
Experts believe the “fascinating” results may explain why more women than men suffer from the debilitating condition. 
In the UK 62 per cent of our 850,000 sufferers are women. 
Dementia is the leading cause of death in women, with 38,724 deaths per year attributed to it.
