Women over 34 now ineligible for IVF funding in parts of Nottinghamshire
 

Women over the age of 34 in certain parts of Nottinghamshire will no longer be eligible for fertility treatment on the NHS.
In a bid to save money, commissioners at the NHS Mansfield and Ashfield, and Newark and Sherwood Clinical Commissioning Groups have agreed to continue funding for IVF treatment - but lower the age criteria.
Previously women could be aged 42, but now criteria for eligibility has been lowered to 34. The lower age limit is 25 where it was previously 18.
