Woman who allegedly help smuggle £1,000 of B&M cosmetics 'up her skirt' doesn't show at court
 

A shoplifter who allegedly helped smuggle £1,000 of cosmetics from a budget supermarket in her skirt has failed to turn up to court.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Adelina Alecu who was due to appear at Teesside Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
It was claimed the Romanian national smuggled the goods out of Stockton’s B&M branch by stuffing them in her skirt after travelling from Birmingham.
But after Wednesday afternoon’s no-show, the CPS defended the decision not to remand her, with a solicitor claiming the 22-year-old was “correctly bailed”.
