Woman tells court alleged abuse left her unable to sleep
 

A woman who says she was sexually abused as a child later underwent counselling, a jury has heard.
Geoffrey Blacklock, 68, is on trial at Carlisle Crown Court. He denies six indecent assault charges which relate to alleged incidents during the late 1970s and early 1980s.
These are said to have occurred in North Cumbria.
On day two of the trial today jurors heard evidence from the alleged victim. Now an adult, she spoke from behind a screen about abuse which, she said, occurred at the hands of Blacklock.
