Woman's handbag snatched in daylight robbery in Blyth



A woman had her handbag snatched in a daylight robbery in Blyth on Monday .
The 26-year-old woman was walking along Bridge Street towards the junction with Havelock Street when she was approached by an unknown man. He grabbed her shoulder bag and ran off towards the Waterloo Pub.
Her handbag was found nearby by officers, but all cash had been stolen from it.
Police are now appealing for witnesses after the incident which left the woman shaken.
She was not injured in the street robbery.
