Woman left in searing pain with blurred vision after confusing eye drops for e-cigarette refill liquid



Storing eye drops next to e-cigarette liquid could cause significant eye damage, experts warn. 
Since the bottles look similar at a glance, and the nicotine-laced fluid carried no warnings about harmful eye contact, users should be aware. 
Doctors say a woman in Scotland got away lightly with no major injuries after confusing the two. 
She had recently been prescribed antibiotic drops for bacterial conjunctivitis - also known as pinkeye - and stored them next to her e-cigarette liquid in her bathroom.
