Woman escapes serious injury after Baldwins Gate collision involving tractor

A woman who had to be cut from her vehicle after a collision with a tractor has escaped serious injury.
The incident occurred at around 7.25pm on Friday night in Newcastle Road, Baldwins Gate.
Three crews of firefighters, from Newcastle, Loggerheads and Longton, attended the scene and spent an hour rescuing the woman.
Believed to be the only occupant of the vehicle, the woman was taken to hospital as a precaution, having only suffered minor injuries.
A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: "The woman did not suffer any life-changing injuries and was taken to hospital."
