Woman escaped Low Hill car crash with minor injuries



A driver who was cut from her car after a crash near Liverpool city centre yesterday afternoon escaped with minor injuries.
The woman, in her forties, had to be cut free from a black Volkswagen Touran on Brunswick Road close to the junction with Low Hill after a collision with a Mercedes Sport.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were at the scene of the incident after they were alerted at 3.30pm.
According to a witness, emergency services spent at least 15 minutes getting someone out of the car by cutting away the rooftop and sides of the vehicle.
