Woman dragged to the floor in Blyth in attempted street robbery



A woman was knocked to the ground as a man attempted to snatch her handbag.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the attempted robbery, which happened just before 9.30am on Monday when the woman was walking along Plessey Road in Blyth .
The woman’s attacker knocked her to the ground, fell down and then fled the scene.
The offender is described as a white, between 5ft 10in and 5ft 11in tall, skinny build.
He was wearing a black hoody with a black scarf around his face and black tracksuit bottoms.
