Woman charged with assaulting police officer during gas engineer visit



A woman has been charged with assaulting a police officer following an incident at a house in Wrexham yesterday.
The 36-year-old, who has not been identified, will appear at Wrexham magistrates court on October 11.
Gas engineers and police officers had attended a semi-detached house on Cheshire View, Brymbo, where it is alleged a police officer was assaulted.
There had been claims police had used a pepper spray during the incident and an iPad was also confiscated.
Inspector Steve Owens today confirmed a woman had since been charged with assaulting a police officer.
