Woman airlifted to hospital after two-car smash in Aberdeenshire
 

A WOMAN who was airlifted to hospital following a two-vehicle road collision in Aberdeenshire remains in a serious condition.
The incident happened at around 2.30pm on Saturday on South Road in Peterhead next to the Esso petrol station.
The collision involved a silver Renault Clio and a silver Honda Civic with the female driver of the Clio being airlifted by helicopter to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
Officers are appealing for witnesses and wish to speak to a man who stopped to help just after the crash took place.
