Woman accused of spitting at police officer fails to attend court because of pneumonia
 

A woman accused of spitting at a police officer when allegedly caught with a knife failed to attend court because she had pneumonia.
Renee Weaver faces a charge of common assault in relation to an alleged attack against PC Anthony Lorenzelli on September 18 this year.
She is accused of possessing an article with a blade or point, namely a blue-handled kitchen knife with a three-inch blade, in Belmont Road, Anfield.
The 35-year-old, of Belmont Drive, Anfield, is also charged with possession of cannabis, relating to the same incident.
