Woman, 91, waits two hours for ambulance after falling from bed in Withernsea home

An elderly woman has called for quicker ambulance response times after she was left waiting two hours for paramedics when she fell out of bed.
The 91-year-old fell onto the floor in her Withernsea house while reaching for a light around 4am on Sunday.
But, after waiting about 45 minutes for her Lifeline support carer to help her and call an ambulance, she had to wait a further two hours for an ambulance to arrive.
Although her injuries turned out to be only minor, she said she was worried she would not have been treated in time if she had suffered a more serious injury.
