Wirral RSPCA Inspector Anthony Joynes taking on 100km Sahara desert trek
 

TV viewers are rallying round a Wirral animal centre – by backing an RSPCA Inspector’s bid to trek 100km through the Sahara desert.
Wirral RSPCA Inspector Anthony Joynes will take on the gruelling ten-day challenge in Morocco in February, three years after he trekked to the summit of the Kilimanjaro for the animal charity.
This time he is fundraising for the RSPCA Wirral and Chester branch, based in Cross Lane, Wallasey, which is independent from the national RSPCA.
