Wirral man found dead on roof of his home three weeks after he was reported missing
 

The body of a chartered surveyor from Wirral was found on the roof of his home almost three weeks after going missing.
Simon Watson, 45, was last heard from on July 2, when he spoke to his mum and arranged to go for lunch with her the following day.
But when he didn’t arrive, the family reported him missing to police.
Officers searched his flat in Yewdale Park, Oxton, and found a suicide note but no trace of Mr Watson.
Police investigations included a search of Beachy Head, near Eastbourne.
