William Hill continues to reap rewards from online gambling rise as it awaits decision on fixed-odds betting machines



William Hill reported another quarter of growth thanks to a boost in revenues from online betting and American punters, as it awaits the UK Government's decision on fixed-odd betting terminals.
The bookmaker said it was on track to meet its full-year expectations, with group net revenues 4 per cent higher in the 17 weeks to October 24. 
William Hill said online performed 'particularly well', driven by strong growth in the UK despite the absence of major football tournaments this year.
