Widnes man arrested and charged with dangerous driving as part of off-road bike campaign
 

A Widnes man has been charged as part of a police operation targeting the illegal and anti-social use of mini-motos and off-road bikes.
Operation Scrambler has been enforced by Widnes Local Policing Unit (LPU), with officers carrying out high visibility patrols in hotspots.
A Cheshire police spokeswoman said that an 18-year-old ‘local’ man was arrested and charged with dangerous driving and using threatening and abusive behaviour, following an alleged incident on Sunday, August 14.
The defendant will appear at North Cheshire Magistrates on Thursday, September 1.
