Why turning the troubled Adam and Eve pub into an addicts’ refuge was the right move

The conversion of a former troubled pub into a cafe and apartments for recovering alcoholics, addicts and vulnerable young people has been hailed by a Government minister.
The notorious Adam and Eve in Digbeth was closed in 2014 following a series of violent incidents but almost two years on is almost ready to begin a new chapter as a cafe and community hub, as well as apartments, for vulnerable and homeless young people.
