Why is Wirral Line facing delays so soon after massive upgrade?



Rail bosses say the commuter chaos on the Wirral Line this week is NOT connected to the track replacement that closed the line for months.
Commuters faced a third day of problems today after a fault at James Street station caused “severe” delays and cancellations. And those problems look set to continue tonight as Merseyrail does not expect a normal service to resume on the Wirral Line tomorrow morning.
