Why Amy Johnson's replica Gipsy Moth plane must stay in Hull



I'm struggling a bit with the idea of the replica of Amy Johnson's bi-plane winging its way to York after spending most of the year inside Hull's Paragon Station.
If that happens, it would be a bit like seeing a butter-fingered goalie letting the ball slip through his hands for an injury-time own goal.
Made by inmates at Hull Prison as a City of Culture project, the aircraft is a fantastic sight greeting visitors arriving here for a bit of 2017 action.
