These are some of the offenders who have been through the courts on assault charges recently.
Timothy Bradley, 38, of Newark Crescent, Sneinton, was found guilty of assault at an address in Curtis Street, Hucknall, on May 14. Magistrates gave Bradley six weeks in prison, suspended for six months, because the offence was so serious; he was under the influence of alcohol and there were repeated blows. Bradley was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £115 and costs of £100. No separate penalty was imposed after he failed to surrender to custody at court on September 22.
