Whistle-blower army doctor loses long-running legal battle over sacking



A doctor who claimed he was sacked by the Ministry of Defence over whistleblowing about doses of drugs being given to an army veteran has lost his long-running legal battle.
Dr Stephen Frost, from Colwyn Bay, had been told by the MoD not to return to work at Weeton Barracks near Blackpool after making known his concerns about the prescription known in 2013.
The 70-year-old, who had worked for the MoD since 1996, raised the matter with colleagues after discovering that a patient may have been given morphine six times the strength of the usual dose.
