Which North East MPs employ family members? They could be forced to sack them

Seven North East politicians could be forced to sack family members under proposals to stop politicians giving jobs to relatives.
New MPs are already barred from employing relatives.
And there are calls for existing MPs to be told the practice is unacceptable.
The Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority, the watchdog responsible for MPs’ expenses, has said the hiring of “connected parties” by MPs is “out of step with modern employment practice”.
Restrictions came in to force after the June election to stop MPs hiring a family member or a partner they live with.
