Where is the 2018 Ryder Cup being held? Six countries originally registered an interest in hosting the Ryder Cup: France, Germany, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and Sweden.
However, Sweden withdrew before the official bidding process began with five courses battling it out for the right to host.
And on May 17 2011, it was confirmed that France would host the Ryder Cup for the first time ever.
