When will Hull’s orange barriers be gone?



They have become a familiar sight criss-crossing the streets of the city centre over the past 12 months.
But most of the infamous orange barriers should be gone by Christmas.
Hull City Council officials have confirmed the first phase of the £24.8m public realm works programme was on target to be completed as scheduled by the end of December.
They have also announced further work originally planned to take place in 2018 is being brought forward into early 2017. It includes work to create a new pedestrian entrance and new paving in Queens Gardens.
