When to see Draconids meteor shower near Birmingham



Amateur astronomers - it is time to dust off your telescope and head for your garden.
Why? Because, while the Perseids meteor shower may have ended, another dazzling celestial event is set to enthral the masses later this month.
This time it is the annual Draconid meteor shower, one of the most unpredictable meteor displays seen in the Northern Hemisphere.
Astrology experts say you can expect anything from dozens of meteors an hour to hundreds per hour.
