When might it start to snow in Derbyshire?
 

Derbyshire could be set to avoid snow forecast elsewhere in the East Midlands until the end of the week.
Yesterday the Telegraph reported that snow was expected to hit the region by Thursday, which could in some areas become so-called "thundersnow" - a phenomenon where, during a thunderstorm, snow falls from the sky instead of rain, because of the difference between the ground temperature and that in the clouds.
