When is the Orionid meteor shower?

The Orionid meteor shower will appear over North Wales this month and will last until 7th November.
Stargazers will find the peak time to see the spectacular meteor shower will be 20th October.
The Orionid shower is made from debris created by Halley's Comet which comes into contact with our atmosphere every October.

You will need clear, cloudless skies to have the best possible chance of catching a glimpse of the shower. It is also best to find a viewing spot away from the light.
