What's the reason behind Castle Street's strange Christmas music?



The unusual music echoing across Castle Street this Christmas could be inspired by hypnotic sounds used to keep people calm, according to an expert.
The rotating lanterns lining the Castle Street were designed by artists from Kazimier Productions and commissioned by Liverpool City Council and the Business Improvement District.
Accompanied by soothing music, the decorations have been illuminating Castle Street and Bold Street since the start of November.
Liverpool hypnotherapist Phil Steele, 33, said he uses similar music in his sessions to help people with anxiety.
