'What are you doing about crime in Rhyl?' councillors ask police chief

Chief Constable Mark Polin is to meet councillors who are demanding to know what action is being taken to crack down on the serious crime sweeping through a town.
The officer has accepted an invitation to a meeting of Rhyl Town Council in the wake of a series of murders, assaults, evidence of large-scale drug dealing and offences involving weapons.
North Wales Police and Crime Commissioner Arfon Jones, who has also been asked to attend, said he won’t do so due to “other commitments” but said the issue is an “operational” matter for the force.
