West Midlands Mayor Andy Street to speak at Conservative conference in Manchester
 

West Midlands Mayor Andy Street will have a starring role at the Conservative Party conference next month, when he delivers a speech to the party faithful.
Mr Street, the region's first elected mayor, will get a conference speech, the Birmingham Mail has been told.
There will also be a panel discussion of newly-elected mayors on the main conference stage, which Mr Street may take part in. His speech will be in addition to this.
