West Ham’s Arthur Masuaku apologises after being sent off for spitting at opponent
 

Arthur Masuaku has issued an apology after he was sent off for spitting at an opponent in West Ham‘s defeat to Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup fourth round on Saturday.
The left-back was dismissed in the 49th minute when he spat at Nick Powell, while David Moyes‘ side slumped to a 2-0 loss against their League One opposition.
Masuaku will be suspended for West Ham’s next six fixtures, which means he will be unavailable to play until mid-March.
