West End 'legal high' seller lands himself in court in landmark ruling
A ‘legal high’ seller has become one of the first to fall foul of new laws in a landmark hearing.
Jack Lockhart became the first person in the North East, and one of the first in the UK, to be prosecuted for supplying a psychoactive substance under new legislation brought in this May.
The 23-year-old, of Bentinck Terrace in Newcastle, pleaded guilty to five charges of supplying a psychoactive substance at Newcastle Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday October 12.
