West Brom fans pay tribute to Les James, Albion "through thick and thin"



West Bromwich Albion fans have paid tribute to one of their own - much-loved and devoted supporter Les James, who has died aged 91.
James, the Club's oldest away season-ticket holder, was a familiar face to many at The Hawthorns and on the road.
He sadly passed away in hospital on Monday morning surrounded by family and friends.
Supporters' Club Chairman John Homer said: "Les was simply a lovely, caring and considerate man who followed Albion through thick and thin.
"He always had a smile on his face and never grumbled about the team, whatever the result.
