West Bridgford rough sleepers threatened with £100 fines
 

People sleeping rough in two affluent parts of Nottinghamshire have been threatened with £100 fines for bringing down the quality of life in the area.
Rushcliffe Borough Council says that rough sleepers have been "causing a nuisance", and as a result fixed penalty notices would be used as a last resort.
If people fail to pay the initial £100, they could be prosecuted, with the maximum fine being £1,000.
