Welsh Government's anti-poverty scheme scrapped
 

The Welsh Government’s Communities First anti-poverty scheme is to be scrapped.
It was set up to spread millions of pounds of cash into deprived communities across the country, including the six North Wales counties.
But today Welsh Government Communities Secretary Carl Sargeant announced it will be phased out, saying he believes a new approach is needed instead of concentrating on 52 small areas in Wales.
