For those of you who have longed to live on a Paris houseboat but are not so sure about your sea legs, this may be the hotel for you. OFF, which opened its doors in July, is the first floating hotel in Paris. It sits on the Left Bank, at Quai d’Austerlitz, opposite the station of the same name.
Two long rows of rooms line the sides of OFF. Between them is a sky-lit, communal corridor, along which are wooden chairs and bean bags in gold and bronze.
